EBIS – A SMARTER, ‘EVIDENCE-BASED’ INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY
QED is completely independent, but is a member of Evidence Based Investment Solutions (EBIS).
EBIS, of which QED’s Darren Baker is a founding member and current chairman, is a group of nine independent firms who believe many investors are poorly served by expensive fund managers and inexperienced advisers. EBIS was formed in 2008 and the nine firms look after more than £400 million for their clients.
EBIS members meet regularly and have developed common investment processes and portfolios. They also share best practices and provide a collective “pool of wisdom” that benefits the clients of all firms.
